  • It’s baseball. Anything can happen. It might be delusional but it’s possible. I choose hope over defeat when mathematically it’s far from over.

Vargas is definitely this team’s MVP this year right?

Good job Schultz!

No challenge available just hurt us. It was a strike 3 for Lee and called a ball. But no harm done, he just struck out anyway. But no challenges left in the 7 th in a tight game is stressful. We need to do better with challenges.

Hopefully it goes better than when we needed only 6 outs yesterday

Now we need only 6 today....and boy do I agree with you.

Is Taylor available today or no?

When they say the Sox lead the majors in innings pitched by the bullpen, does that count the bulk starter innings after we use an opener? If so, meaningless stat to me.

I think it does and I believe they’ve used the most openers out of any team so it makes sense it would be the highest

This is what I wanted yesterday Sandlin to Hagen to Schultz… game over.

Really hope we see a lot more of Hagen and Noah in the final games.

Who pitches the 8th and 9th?

Let's put up a crooked number on Waguespack

Teel wouldn’t have challenged it. He received it poorly and didn’t even think it was a strike, I don’t think.

I just want fully automated balls and strikes.

In hindsight, Grichuk probably would have done better today than Beni, who has not looked good today.

Let’s cross that bridge when we get there. Let’s worry about winning this game first.

Some players are better when they play every day. BenI hasn’t played since Monday- one reason I hate this platoon crap. He should be playing both Benni and Grichuk every game.

Would love a hit and run here

Does a HBP work?

How about a HBP?

get him over and get him in.

Omg Braden you gotta crush that. f***

Such a predictable double play. Bad all around

Another hanging change up and he rolls it over. Bleh.

He has no balance at the plate

Should have bunted. Just don't trust Braden to not pound it into the ground.

Start Grichuk in RF rest of the way
