Work on his stance and swing this off-season, I’d love to see him be a right handed Aaron Judge with an open stance and a short quick swing.

I'm talking about at some point next season. The point is don't keep Colson around to see if he improves. If he starts out bad again next year Roch should be up by summer and Colson benched

Sure, defensively.

Would rather play Meidroth Antonacci in middle infield for 3-4 months and take more time assessing his readiness with a wooden bat.

Let's see him dominate Birmingham, at the very least.

That doesn't always work.

Hrniak attempted to turn Sosa into a line drive XB hitter to take advantage of his speed.

Even Meidroth's K totals are way up this year compared to 2024, but he has shown surprising pop as a result.

Dude doesn't even have two years of experience. It makes zero sense to dump him when he is essentially a minimum wage player for 2 more seasons.

Tough call on Colson no doubt. I think he will stay. He's very early in his career, he is cheap, and he is a part of the core. When Cholowski or Bonemer are ready should be when Bennintedi's contract is up. I see Colson platooning at DH and playing backup at 3rd, first and short.

For now though, I hope he is World Series 2026 MVP!

When you play a very good MLB SS you can deal with a 90 wRC+ hitter, even one that looks as odd at SS as Colson. Certainly as a 25 year old.

All these things are good but c’mon, he just broke the single season strikeout record. I don’t think they should dump him at all, but I can see why people would be frustrated with him.

who gives a s%*#? he's at 2.8 fWAR. That's .2 fWAR less than Julio Rodriguez this year. Being a dependable everyday good MLB SS matters, so does 30+ HR. Who fucking cares that 2026 Adam Dunn is not a bad 1B or DH but a good everyday MLB SS? That is all the differences. 20 teams would kill to have a "problem" like Colson as a pre arb 25 year old SS.

Take a look at his second half numbers and tell me you have no concerns. They are putrid. Either he has completely lost whatever the Sox fixed in Arizona or pitchers have figured his ass out.

K's are not a big deal hitting as they are for pitchers. Lotta Ks in baseball recently. I could see it warranted if he was in his 5th year.

Concerns? Sure. Frustrations? Sure. Dump his ass? GTFOH. He is this close to being a 6 WAR superstar SS if he gets his K rate down into the 160/170 range. You don't dump a guy like that until at least you have exhausted his cheap years and he is unfixable
