Looking forward to seeing who they bring on. Hoping they work well with Stone. Honestly he probably should be apart of the interview process.

Stone should get terminated too, but that will not happen.

Eh. I like Stone. Personal vendetta’s aside I think he can do well with the right person.

I agree with the comment on the X post. He might be a decent national guy.

Not mad about it but I thought he was better than we gave him credit for. My problem with him is that he refused to learn baseball, not that he was a little goofy. I liked the goofball shtick, I don’t like that he didn’t know a damn thing about the sport or the players. He definitely could’ve learned.

No, buddy!

South Side, sit down!

Please stay away from the other goofball plesac

Nah he would be more of the Stone role, not the play by play guy.

I wonder what the process will be in hiring a new person. I wouldn't mind being interviewed for the job.

Now go get someone with some actual street cred, and not someone who is primarily concerned with the company line. This is one of the premier markets in all of the world. Let's act like it.

Honestly, given the choice I would have rather fired Stone. He's such an impediment to whoever he has worked with on a daily basis.

He did well with Benetti.

There was a lot of time where he just iced him. It was worse with Schiff and Hawk, but especially if he was on a tangent filling time, he just left him out there alone. He was never willing to play along.

Isn’t there smoke out there that Wayne Randazzo is a favorite?

The people have the power?

Was never a fan of his. He was a horrible hire. I just wish they held Brooks Boyer accountable. When was the last time he did anything of value for the Sox? The Grinder Rules was a lifetime ago.

Feels like Wayne Randazzo is the shoe-in. He did a bunch of Bulls games on CHSN. Supposedly he still lives in Chicago, despite calling games for the Angels.

Wouldn’t announcer be a downgrade from GM of the team? Don’t sell yourself short.

Thank god! Bring in someone worth a damn this time and please please please no Connor McNight full time gig .

Do we know what his angels contract looks like?
