(subconsciously the xbox commercial made me watch the film and not buy the game...better luck next time microsoft) I had never watched the director's cut. It made the movie 30 minutes longer, and there were a lot of great scenes. The director's cut included snippets from the book Donnie was reading, and the very last page it showed focused on this line "Some of the people who were living in the divergent world will not remember it happened." (my paraphrase) That totally opened my eyes to the "Mad World" segment where the actors are responding to their "dreams" they just had. Some of them remember what happened and some of them don't. Like peter lorri in M. Awesome performance. You hate this guy the entire time and they almost make you sympathetic for him at the end. It's brilliant.
