The last game of 2003, the announcers made the usual "Our next broadcast will be..." announcement, only this time it was of course in March. Why? That was a bitter pill. I just want some closure to this season, then I'll look forward to the offseason. Â That's not to say that it won't be fun -- just something I've been thinking about, that this reminded me of. Hanging out with other Sox fans and meeting people you have only talked to on here is a huge part of it. Admission is minimal, and you get access to the players and coaches for autographs and informative clinics. I highly recommend it. Daughter's birthday is right around that date, and we always have the family party for her on the closest weekend. Either way, fan conventions are just not my thing. Smells too "Star Trek" for me....
