What's with the late start time? I thought this was supposed to be a getaway day.

BRUTAL.

It's a 7 pm start in California. Nothing strange about that.

On getaway day, games are usually in the afternoon to allow for travel times.

Yeah, but at least it's not a huge trip - LA to Texas, night game tomorrow in Texas, not a big time change.

nice to get back to the central time zone in texas.... why are they even in the West.....

Go get em, Defector!!!!

Radke getting roughed up in the first inning like always. The Tribe doing some 2 out damage up 1-0 with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

Sabathia getting shelled now. 4-1 Twinkies. :puke

Wasn't this supposed to be the year where he cements himself as one of the best in the league?

In his defense he is coming off an injury.

2 words -- fat and overrated. Give me Buehrle anyday.

4.08 career ERA.

Exactly what Jabroni said. BTW, I've been wondering what your avatar is.

Michael Bates of "A Clockwork Orange" fame. I actually agree with you that he hasn't lived up to expectations. Yet. But he is only 24. And the same could have been said about Jon Garland. And as high as his ERA has been, it has, each and every year, been below the league average.

But Garland wasn't picked as an all-star last year (Over Buehrle and Shingo, I might add)

especially with that rediculous off-centre cap. That drives me nuts. he looks like a circus clown!

Radke just imploded with a 3-run lead in the 7th. 4-4 now with a man on third and no outs. Our friend J.C. Romero is in now.

3 doubles in a row by Cora, Belliard, and Sizemore and then a triple by Blake. No outs for Hafner!

4-4 tie game now!

Come on Cleveland I want to see 7.0 gap between 1st and second in the AL central tomorrow in the paper!!!!

I don't put that much stock in being picked an all-star. Every team needs to be represented and there are so many teams

Having grown up in the 90's...having to root for Cleveland still makes me feel so dirty.

Wow, I looked away for 5 minutes and the Indians stranded a runner on third with no outs. 2005 Indians = 2004 White Sox (offensively)

But Cleveland had 6 people last year. It wasn't because they were being represented.

Imagine not getting the lead run in from 3rd with nobody out.
