Perhaps KW is looking at Alex Cintron or Craig Counsell? You never know. As far as pitchers, Halsey, Webb, Vazquez, and Valverde woyld be the only guys I would consider.

Other than one of their 3 young starters(Halsey, Webb, Vazquez) There is nobody on that team I could see the Sox even looking at.

 

Couldn't they also have been looking at Detroit's bullpen. They have some depth there.

 

But I doubt they'd trade with each other. You know, because they're rivals and all.

I would have said Alex Cintron in the past but Ozuna is showing that he is a quality utility man for us. He still isn't good at 3rd base though. Maybe Kenny would want Cintron to play 3rd base for us?

The Diamondbacks want to ADD a reliever or two. I doubt they will be trading any of theirs. I think they would deal either Cintron or prospects for a reliever.

They DID use Herges and he sucked. They designated him for assignment and no other team claimed him. That's why he is in their minors right now.

Why would you bring up Conor Jackson if you didn't think that he would be an option in a trade? Afterall, that's what we are talking about here. Why bother even mentioning his name if he isn't a viable trade option?
