Other than one of their 3 young starters(Halsey, Webb, Vazquez) There is nobody on that team I could see the Sox even looking at.

Couldn't they also have been looking at Detroit's bullpen. They have some depth there.

But I doubt they'd trade with each other. You know, because they're rivals and all.

I would have said Alex Cintron in the past but Ozuna is showing that he is a quality utility man for us. He still isn't good at 3rd base though. Maybe Kenny would want Cintron to play 3rd base for us? :huh

Or it could be what I already said. Maybe Kenny wants to get a couple prospects for a guy like Vizcaino who is the last pitcher in our bullpen so he could package them up with some of our prospects and obtain a starting pitcher like Schmidt.

Perhaps KW is looking at Alex Cintron or Craig Counsell? You never know. As far as pitchers, Halsey, Webb, Vazquez, and Valverde woyld be the only guys I would consider.

Valverde is a b****. The D-Back don't want to trade Cintron and they don't want to play him either. Counsell has been thier MVP, not the best stats but he has been thier MVP.

That could be the case, too. Sweetening a deal for another player. Didn't we do that for Everett the 1st time?

The Diamondbacks want to ADD a reliever or two. I doubt they will be trading any of theirs. I think they would deal either Cintron or prospects for a reliever.

Hell, I didn't even bring Valverde's name up.

Don't trade for Burnett UNLESS you can work out a long - term deal with him.

Agreed 100%. I want him here, and I'd be satisfied if the Sox gave up a large package to get him here. However, I also want him to STAY HERE, so that big package that the team gives up doesn't go for naught.

By the way, what's LOOGY stand for? I know it means lefty specialist basically, but I've been trying to figure out the acronym for a while now.

Those guys are all scrubs.  I don't understand why you posted their names. :huh

I don't understand why they are looking for help elsewhere. Choate and Herges can help out!

I doubt we're getting their top prospect for Shingo or Vizcaino.  Seriously, settle down.

How bout you settle down there. I never said we were gonna get him for Shingo or Jizzcan or that I even thought we were interested. I was simply putting it out ther that he is their top prospect and he's f***ing awesome.

Why would you bring up Conor Jackson if you didn't think that he would be an option in a trade? Afterall, that's what we are talking about here. Why bother even mentioning his name if he isn't a viable trade option?

KW was interested in him when he was a free agent coming from Pittsburgh a few years back.

Would help if he pitched on pittsburgh...? His career whip of 1.42 + our park = 13 era.

Connor Jackson is their top prospect I beleive:

http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...milb&pid=433582

6 HR, 58 RBI, .373 AVG, .463 OBP!!!

Now tell me Jabroni or Milkman...where in this post do I say the Sox will get him in retur for Jizzcan or Shingo. I was simply putting it out there and that if a bigger trade does evolve, he might be talked about. Clueless? Hardly. :headshake
