Official game thread for August 10th

I thought the whole idea of smartball was to score those runs that get in scoring position. Not just this game, but all year we haven't done that. This is a bulls*** weak offense that would get killed in the playoffs.

Is small sneaky or something?  I dont think Pods has swung yet

Sometimes you can't pick a guy up, period.

shoulda bunted....

I never thought it was possible, but Uribe looks worse than Olivo did when he first came up and tried to hit the curve ball. My god...this is really, really bad.

He Gawn!!...I hate this f***ing offense. I don't give a s*** what anyone says. The past 4 years, the offense was better minus a month of baseball. We have corpseball going, so we might as well do it right and get the big boppers back here.

No doubt our offense last year before Frank and Maggs got hurt was WAY better than this one, but at least the defense is better.

When did we call up Borchard?

he obviously cant hit curves.

Anyone know Jobu's phone number?

Doesn't look like it. His fastball isn't that fast and his curve is up enough to be called a strike.

I'd just like to point out that this is Aaron Small.

The same Aaron Small with a 3.09 era.

I'd just like to point out he has a 3.00 ERA and a 1.2 WHIP

we need to capitalize there. There is no reason for Uribe to K, but he is 80 percent successful in those situations, and I wouldnt want anyone else up there. But at least we have proven we can get on base against this scrub.

That tricky Brian Dalgin!!!

Bryan Dolgin

anyone watching the TV broadcast? Are Hawk and DJ just sucking of Small?

Freddy falls behing...gives up a base hit. Shocking.

THROW STRIKES

Can't keep falling behind hitters, Freddy.

still talking about thomas the strength coach. And how we gave him a box full of cash.

Jobu never helped him hit a curve ball.

"Straight ball I hit it very hard"

Aaron Small was a career minor leaguer for 10 years. There's a reason for it. I'm guessing a lot of teams are trying to hit 700 foot bombs off of him.

Yeah, but 2 and 3rd with 1 out... need to score at least one

basehit right field.

1st two on with singles, no outs

NYY have runners on 1st adn second, nobody out....

Think they'll bunt?

Freddy in trouble.
