It was pretty scary at first but then when everyone saw he was ok, it was just all laughs... That's just embarrassing. I'm not sure if what it was -- I think the guy was really shaken up, he didn't move for like 2 minutes, I think he was still in shock. It was crazy!

Can you imagine if that f***ball was your kid, brother, friend or bf?

Well,  he is in New York.  Couldn't expect anything less. :headshake

If that happened at our park, the articles about the stadium not being safe would be all over ESPN and the Trib. The ligues would be shown again, as well as disco demo.

If it happened at our park, he would be dead. There is no net over that area, just the support wires for the screen behind homeplate.

I have to admit that a very small corner of my brain was rooting for him to back through that hole and drop to the concrete below ( as long as no one else was hurt, of course....that was the REST of my brain saying that ).....as he was backing up the screen, that very very small corner of the brain was quietly saying "a little more.....closer.....closer.....thaaaaaaaaat's it........"

....does that make me evil????

He would have landed on me in my scout seats last weekend. :P

I meant in theory, when they had the net over the area.

That reminded me of Foley's bump off the cage vs. Taker.

"That killed him, good god almighty".

"HOW IN THE HELL IS HE GETTING UP?????"

and that imbecile on the screen had the same glazed-over look that Foley had after the 11th chairshot from the Rock in the I Quit match.

Yeah, didn't have Mick's wife and kids screaming though.

I saw elsewhere that you might be looking at a new grill, did you decide on one yet?

Yeah, but it's a temporary grill.

Got a nice little grill ( 22 1/2" grate ) for like 40 bucks at Menard's.

I still want to get a new Weber kettle grill, but this'll do for now.

It's got a nice big grate and a slide-out ash catcher, for when ya wanna CATCH THAT ASH!!!!

I'll still use the kettle for the bigger stuff, but I like the new one too.

Gonna cook me up about "FIDDY POUNDA RIB....and a BELL PEPPA!!!"

What's Jon Garland doing sitting in the stands during a game?

No guys, that is ME!! First row behind the Sox bench, my dad's corporate tickets... Gotta love it!

By the way, I am not kidding. Ask GreaseyWheels, when I got home from the game we talked and he said he saw me. We were in a few of the same classes together at Indiana University last year...

Maybe he was trying distract the Sox and forget about the bunt so that the Yanks could get on base.

It came close to working, I was rewinded, and it happened during the bunt, and Crede was obviously off guard looking in the stands, it could've cost us the game, the son of a b**** :nono

Uh oh. I bought that grill last year. It is covered from top to bottom in rust now. Cover that thing when it rains!

I'm setting the over/under on 4 days until the next person attempts that trick.

You can bet they'll be switching that setup around very shortly, to probably the way the Sox have it now. They cant risk letting that happen again, if he fell through onto somebody there woulda been hella lawsuits filed.

I'm thinking he wouldn't win s***. In fact, to stop that from happening again the yanks should sue the fan and donate any winnings to charity.

You can't jump off a building and then sue the building owners....
