Lackey's probably pitched a bit above himself so far this season to date. Really need a victory here, and for El Duque to provide some quality innings.

My mom just heard on Chicago radio that El Duque and B-Mac will pitch for sure today. Ozzie will have Brandon in the bullpen, so he can relieve El Duque in the middle of the game. McCarthy will be a long reliever. Has anyone else heard this?

Yep....about 5 games too late. I also serverely disagree with the plan of putting McCarthy into the game as a long reliever. If he's going to pitch, it should be as a starter. No reason to put him in a situation where he doesn't have a lot of experience just because Duque is washed up.

I thought McCarthy maybe should have started this game to see how he would fare against them if he possibly faced em in the playoffs.......... Also to help avoid the DREADED sweep

Hopefully El Duque mows them down for 5 and Bmac can mow them down the rest of the way, we need this win today. The way the Tribe is playing we need to win no matter if they win or not. Go get em Sox!

i've lost a bit of interest this weekend because of the absolutely crazy football weekend it is, but duke isn't helping me get back into the sox.
