The Red Sox are the better match-up for us, IMO. Yankees have almost as good offense, Randy Johnson, Mariano and Gordon. Angels have Colon, Vlad, Frankie. Red Sox have O and Timlin, who I still don't believe in. This is who we want.

Matt Clement versus Jose Contreras.

 

Man, I like this matchup.

 

Over his career, the White Sox have hit something like .375 against Clement, if memory serves. We were beating him ruthlessly last time we faced him - that game in Boston that was rained out.

 

Let's do this thing boys. We've got the defending World Series champs coming into our house on Tuesday.
