The offense was definitely out in full force today to clinch the Sox' first series sweep of the 2006 season.

And the Sox are back above .500, hopefully for good!

Guess whos back, back again.

A win is a win no matter how it happens. Yeesh. 38 damn hits in that game.

Good work to everyone in our lineup except for our #9 and #1 hitters. No compliments to our pitching today.

Couple of ugly innings, but I'll take it!

:gosox4: :gosox4: :gosox4:

and the sox erase their 2 series losses in 3 games.

love it.

Garland sucked, but the team overcame it. A sweep is always nice :D

Great game for the offense.

Well that was entertaining... definately much more 2003 than 2005, but hey, a win is a win!

I guess every once in a while it isn't horrible to win a shootout. Back over .500 and we already caught those "scary" Tigers. Keep it rolling back home tomorrow Vaz :headbang

Oh ya, we're now one whole game behind the pace from the start of last year.

The ball was jumping today, every pitcher got tagged a couple of times. There are days like this. We just outhit a hitting lineup.

As hawk would say.. "YEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!"

HELL YEAH! :headbang :gosox1:

Speaking of the pace from last year...Is the suntimes really gonna run that in the paper every fricken day??

Thome!

Garland needs to work on that ERA

but its great to get a sweep

I'll take it, let's take 6 of the next 9 at home.

Man, Jim Thome. HE'S A BEAST! This guy is on FIRE! PICKUP OF THE YEAR! Thome > Everett + Thomas (yes, combined).

Awesome win, awesome sweep.

A little concerned with Garland though

I think it's safe to say that Thome deserves a standing ovation tomorrow.

I laugh at all those Iguchi posts from the spring.

Ill be there, and he will get a standing O from me

Its hard to stay off here at work sometimes. I just wish we would have left Garland in for 1 more batter-to put one up someone's ass for hittimg Thome.

Sure cant complain about the offense-and only bad spot was Garland. Brandon is a stud. Hope his arm can hold up.

^^ lol
