You may know by the end of this inning.

One game does not a season (or career) make.

i dont no about that i need to see another good start

Just walked in and came here first, sounds like Javy is holding his own. Earlier in the week it sounded like Coop and he had changed something up.

Who knows....

YES! OZZIE CAN LEAVE JAVY IN FOR AS LONG AS HE NEEDS TO! NO NEED FOR A SHORT LEASH!

So....we can get Javy into the 8th. Maybe the 9th from Cotts or Riske and that's game.

Maybe even Javy in the 9th if he has a quick 8th.

No, it does not, but when you're struggling, if you make a small change and suddenly it works, the most important thing it does? Confidence. Javy may walk out of this inning feeling like he's found his marbles.

And Vazquez + Marbles should scare the daylights out of the AL.

MERCY!

why do the fans keep counting down in the backround :chair

He did. Coop is having him stand over towards first base more and keeping his bottom half down.

Javy has looked excellent. Like, really, really good.

OK, for argument's sake, let's just say that Javy has turned a corner. Why did it take so long, do you think? Maybe Vazquez finally decided to let Coop change whatever he thought necessary, whereas before he wanted to pitch his own way?

WOW. JAVY. WOW.

Gives me serious reasons for optimism, don't let me down.

95 pitches through the end of the 7th. Give him the 8th, or at least let him start it, since it's the bottom of the Jays' order. Let Cotts have the 9th, just to try to give him some more chances to get it right again when the game isn't on the line.

Believe me, nothing would make me happier.

This outing is just exactly what the team needed

Wow. struck out the side in the 7th. It's REALLY hard to keep hope dead after that.

Javy with 95 pitches. I imagine he'll start the 8th, and any hit will lead to him being pulled.

Well this is certainly awesome to watch. I definitely need to see this for a few more games before I get real excited though. That being said, this is complete dominance right now.

Wow, 4 straight K's and 7 out of the last 9 outs by Strikeout.

Wasn't around earlier...why did Crede get subbed out?

No...but it could turn the corner for him confidence wise. Nice outing Javy!

Good for Javy. Even better for the White sox.

Ever have a bad habit someone was trying to break you of? Every time Vazquez got nervous, or got runners on in his last few starts, he'd get nervous, and his technique would start breaking down. And he'd go back to trying to nibble, and he'd start throwing a lot of balls, and then he'd get hurt. He didn't have the confidence in what he was doing to really focus.

I bet that Cooper coming out in the 5th after that walk was really important today.
