What in the world was that pitch? Jenks seems to be about 80 pct right now.

Our offense coming into this game is ranked 12th with 272 runs scored. We had over 500 in the first half. The Florida Marlins of 14 million have scored 280 runs.

12 more runs and the hitting retarded Cubs will overtake us in scoring runs. With the way our O has been hitting. It might happen.

Prepare for ugly, time to get ready for bed

At least it's been a fast extra inning game.

I'd say 83%, but that number drops with every batter he faces.

If MacDougal is out for an extended period, our chances go from tough to slim.

Hey, Dick, I got the impression you were watching the game WHEN THIS HAPPENED. That means you're still thinking about this, 2 hours later. Watching Podsednik play baseball can do that to a person.

He drives my crazy. I watched the replay on my Tivo over and over with my mouth wide open. I cannot understand how mediocre at best players don't have their heads in the game and can't give maximum effort.

The easiest pitch to bunt is a breaking pitch. The hardest pitch to bunt is a high fastball.

so in a bunting sit we call curve on the first pitch.

I watched Ross Gload drop 2 routine flyballs the same week in 2004. He is a bad OF. But so is Pods. Get the guy in there who at least may get on base.

Those were his 20th or so games started in the outfield (in his career, not that season). He's not that laughable bad anymore.

For some reason I remember that game alot. I remember the announcers talking about how it was dangerous from them to be out of the field with how much water was around.

No, that was the next day's game. The game he was terrible in RF was Loaiza against Zambrano. Gload hit a slam in the 1st inning, but it was overturned. The Cubs swept us that series.

He's hurt?

Walk Kennedy here!! Jenks made Kendrick look silly last night. Good call Ozzie.

Something has to be up. He hasn't warmed up during this series.

If we lose this game, do you think we're done considering Det and Minnie

both won?

I bet you that Ozzie pulls for Owens to be our CF next year. He is a fast guy that fits Ozzies marlin style offense. Dont be too surprised if that is pushed.

And the series at the Cell. In the Friday game, he misplayed at least one ball in RF.

No, the game he stunk was at the Cell. The winds were nuts that day and he had no chance basically all day.

He hasn't played much OF since. He's no better, but like a lot of said, our current LF isn't exactly a gold glover.

I'll bet anything on this that I'm right.

Bobby's getting us in a big mess.

We are nibbling now????

Remember when Jenks had a fastball he could throw past guys?

come on Bobby!

Glad you 2 both think we're not done if we lose.

Pls. don't rub in my prior statements, I haven't done that to you guys.

I root for Thornton, sure.

my f***ing cable just went out!
