Not exactly the kind of question that I'd want if I was at work and some guy walking by tried to tell me how poor they thought my employees and I did our jobs. I'd question the logic behind your e-mail and the resulting sterotypicality of it; but, I'd rather not be accused of personal attacks.

August 26, 200817 yr There is no such thing as a great third base coach. They have to make quick decisions and hope that thier players succeed and the opposing players fail. Asking for one to be fired is just dumb, because the guy that replaces him is going to make the same mistakes and have the same sort of success. We dont have a fast team, Cox can only do so much

August 26, 200817 yr Why do you want to fire Jeff Cox? Because he's too aggressive? I think this team needs to put pressure on the opposing team because they are too slow. BA scoring the other day at home is the perfect example. I do think the team is bunting better, still not up to major league player standards, but better. I lik eCox, I think Cora is a great bench coach...let's let it go. Oh yeah, and the team is in first place, did I mention that before???

August 26, 200817 yr The ball Konerko hit was an absolute rocket right at the LF'er. There was no way to score that run unless there was a bad throw or hop (which we were lucky enough to get). Cox is actually extremely conservative...I miss having Joey over there...

August 26, 200817 yr With 2 outs, Cox made the right call by sending Anderson. The odds of him scoring on that play are a lot better than the next guy up getting another hit to drive him in from third.
