As far as I'm concerned, the series starts tonight. Javy sucks and everyone deep down knew the Sox had no chance. MB is your veteran with big game experience. If he can't do it, then we are f***ed.

I think Thome could be back in the 3 hole if we choose to move Dye out of there. I just don't think Kong is #3 hitter material.

Big Mark has to keep pitching like he has his last 4 starts and we should be good.

I have complete confidence in Buehrle. If he puts up a Vazquez type performance though....I might drink myself into a coma.

I wasn't nervous yesterday, I was excited. Today, I am very nervous. Does anyone else have a weird quesynous (sp?) in their stomach? I know it's not healthy to be this invested in a team, but I can't help it. If they lose tomorrow, I fear what kind of things I will feel. Just win MB and Paulie better come to play cause we need him.

Yesterday, I was worried the Twins were going to come out and dominate us with their speed, pitching, and energy. Today, I guess I'm trying the defense mechanism that this Sox team just can't win at Minnesota and very possibly won't make the playoffs. More than anything, I'm looking forward to Hawk's complete meltdown tomorrow night.

The good news is the Sox really only need one of these games to remain fairly comfortable in the driver's seat. The only thing that concerns me is the team really seems spooked about playing in Minnesota. Its time for that to end.
