4/7 Kansas City Royals @ Chicago White Sox 1:05 CDT - CSN

Thome would have scored because DeJesus' throw was well off...but you can't take that chance.

JD just doesn't run well...but it's not very often you see a runner w/ 2 outs held up at 3B on that play.

But at least Fields came through through...and Aviles has NO range whatsover, so a normal SS would have had a DP and two outs and that inning would have turned out quite differently.

This is why you don't underrate speed, ST.

KW does!

good AB by fields, really impressed

That part of it was VERY encouraging to see, but four singles leading to one run and only scoring a single when the bases were loaded with nobody out looked all too familar as to some of the problems we had on offense last year.

Anyone having problems watching on UVerse?

Dejesus grounds out to Alexei.

Hawk was able to say Alesay during the ST but regular season brings a whole new mindset for him.

Glad it's tied but damn the middle of our order is slow

He was thinking "Should I let Wise strike out with the bases loaded or try to steal a run?"

Good point.

But you also don't replace any of the 6 batters in that inning because of lack of speed, or move them around in the order (well, maybe AJ).

Yeah, but we're used to it.

But it certainly needs a makeover come next season (Thome gone, and Konerko possibly also with Brandon Allen waiting in the wings).

Whats uverse?

Meche is a tough pitcher. AJ honestly shouldn't be hitting higher than 8th at this point. I'm glad to get a run in with 2 outs, when Meche was probably thinking he was out of it with nothing.

Trouble again here. Buerhrle is going to be lucky to make it through 5 IN at this pace.

Guillen walks. Buehrle's laboring a bit.

Buehrle having a lot of trouble putting away hitters.

Buehrle struggling.. keep it together. No big innings!

already over 50 pitches..ugh

buehrle is pretty high in the zone today.

MB looks out of sorts.

Fields=bad fielder.

Mark doesn't have his control today.

Crede would have had that...

Nice to get out of that jam right there.
