There is no Pods / Anderson platoon nor should there be as there is nobody to leadoff.

 

Pods makes a pitcher think a little out there. Nobody else on the Sox can do that.

 

Hawk is all giddy beyond belief.

He was great vs. lefties last year, mainly in the power department. He is a solid 4th OF though because of his D.

He slugged .563 against them but I'm really thinking that was an aberration that his HRs all came against lefties. I don't remember exactly but I don't think there was any evidence in his minor league numbers that he was much better vs. lefties.
