I doubt it. I believe this is the first time the sox will see Huff. If they are gonna be just like recent memory and past indicate, then I don't like their chances. I'll hold up a bit of optimism though.

Sox won yesterday, why are you starting this thread...Its Knight's thread to start

Podsednik, CF

Ramirez, SS

Dye, RF

Konerko, 1B

Fields, DH

Castro, C

Anderson, CF

Getz, 2B

Beckham, 3B

Colon, P

I agree with Fields DHing and giving THome a rest. Thome hasnt looked comfortable since he hit his 550th HR

Nice to Dye back in there today. Hopefully he's still swinging the bat well.

Seems like a good lineup. But what are the chances of a rain delay? Coming down pretty bad in the northern suburbs.

it's amazing how different the weather can be between where i'm at (peoria area), and up near chicago

yesterday it was around 50'F at gametime, it was 82'F here

f***, get ready for another anemic day from our offense... we've never seen Huff before, and he's a lefty.

I went to a Railcats game yesterday and it was 81 degrees where I live and 58 degrees in Gary.

Go Sox :gosoxretro:

WORK.THE.PITCHER.

Even if we don't hit the guy, make him throw 5-6 pitches an AB and get into that God awful bullpen.

Seems like a good lineup.

The Sunday lineups look better with Castro vs.the Corkaroo, and it's good to keep Josh hitting while he's going well.

The only thing I can't understand is why BA would bat anywhere but ninth in any lineup. I'd switch he and Beckham, but otherwise I like it.

I like No-Thome lineups. Maybe Josh Fields is our DH next year.

Colon already looks like he's not feeling good out there. Really short-arming it, like he did in his last start.

this first inning probably puts our chances of winning at around 5%

Well, this is just a great start. Colon throws away the pickoff attempt, and Francisco gets to 3rd.

High ERA? Check

Unknown pitcher? Check

s***ty stats? Check

looks like we're in for a Cy fest.

We really needed innings from Colon with this big 5 game series coming up.

Oh Hunter Wendelstedt. Fun crew we got for this series.

This umpire sucks. Colon has absolutely no chance with him behind the plate.
