I can't believe we didn't pitch Thornton or Jenks this inning. The biggest game of our season to this point, and we went with our 4th best reliever (I don't care what stats say, Linebrink has not looked overly sharp this year).

Meh. Of all things to complain about this doesn't make the top 10 list. The lower part of their order was coming up and Jenks sucks in non-save situations.

Anderson wasn't going to hit Zumaya, but Beckham and Nix have compact enough swings to get to him, Gordon especially, despite the 0/12 start.

He picked a bad game to have by far his worst managerial game of the season. I swear he thought the 8th was the 7th, and the 9th was the 8th. Maybe he'll threaten to quit soon?
