If his dad had him at 16.

god.

damnit.

And a 3 run double

Yikes...Sizemore is now a big out in this game for a lot of reasons.

9-4 now c'mon one more out then let the rain pour all it wants

I guess I'm not overly pissed as I'm sure Clayton was told to just pitch and pitch fast.

Clayton again with the middle inning implosion.

this ballgame is official!!

RAIN AWAY!

I'll give him a break on that inning due to the circumstances.

Ugh least it's now official... I dont think we see Clayton even if we get into the 6th...

Doesn't matter much when you're up 9-1 and just wanting to beat the rain.

So I hear good things about this Gordon Beckham guy.

He's only thrown 70 pitches and Carrasco could use the time off. The only way you don't send him out for the 6th is if the rain delay took extra out of his arm and he tells you so.

agree; he was probably told just to chuck it down the pike.

Long term, if Clayton can't pitch more than 5 innings, he can't be a starter. It seems he always tires around the 5th outside those two good starts he had.

As long as we give him 9 runs of support, I guess he should be fine.

I wonder what Quentin and Thome were discussing....

How much they hate playing for Ozzie.

If it was just a cloudburst, did they tell him to just get through the inning? Hope our middle relief is on tonight. We need a good outing from those guys.
