I was quite surprised at how bad they were last night. Terrible approaches at bat, terrible base running, terrible fielding. They are just a bad team.

The offense is coming around nicely as we have put it on both Cliff Lee and Zach Grienke in the last few days. It is amazing how we struggled against Chen, but just kicked Greinke around the park.

Only 82 pitches too. I guess they decide not to overuse a starter for once. Podsednik and Beckham had nice gap shot doubles, Konerko with the opposite field bloop, and Pierzynski with the homer. I wouldn't say they kicked him around the park, just read his fastball well.

 

Here's one more for ya... Greinke soon to be 5-9 career against the White Sox, which is the most losses against any one team he has in his career so far.

Royals had one good month where everybody got excited.

Sadly, I had no faith that the game wasn't over when Pierzynski made it 1-0 with his homer. This "offense" is a complete joke, and the "defense" is almost as bad.
