Last I remember is Amanda administered the antidote to him and he was placed in an oxygen cell.

Idk if he was released or not, dont remember.

That's exactly what happened. And it's not known what happened to the kid after that.

I haven't seen Saw 6 yet. I'm gonna go sometime next week. But I heard it's pretty f***ing good. And it's supposed to be the most sickening (from a gore standpoint) of them all. Can't wait.

Most sickening is right. Saw it last night, they over did it with the gore imo.

I was disappointed by this movie, idk if I can continue with them.

I don't know what to think of Paranormal Activity, just that it's definitely over-hyped. The horror moments are more suspenseful than scary. Also, there were a few plot holes that bothered me but it is a movie, and the plot has to move along somehow I guess. 5.5/10

Why keep the door open every night? Why not switch spots with your girlfriend? Why not sleep in a different room? I think putting up with that s*** alone for 3 weeks is a little unreal. At least attempt to stay somewhere else, and if the demon were to follow you, then going back home and staying there makes more sense. Good Idea, I think it failed at some things and succeeded at others.

Um, because it's a movie? Suspend disbelief

I was surprised with Four Brothers. Much better than I expected. Even Mark Walhberg was tolerable.

How did anyone like Trick R Treat? That movie was awful.

If you can stand the genre Eden Lake might be the best torture porn, survivalist horror movie I've ever seen.

That's a genre??

Yeah. A genre noticed by the FBI.

It's mostly a term used by people who don't like the genre... But I don't mind it. I don't know what it says about me that I like to watch these movies, but when it comes to my entertainment I don't like much censorship.

I don't know if my opinion is in the minority, but I think Wahlberg is a really good actor.

I just watched G.I. Joe on Blu-Ray (it doesn't come out until the 4th... heh... there's ways) and while the action in the movie was pretty awesome they left a pretty MAJOR plot point unaddressed at the end, and pretty blatantly. I understand they were setting up for a sequel, but damn. At least TRY to advance that plotline a bit.

I have yet to see a ton of range from him, but he's been good in what he's been cast in.

Wow, sort of disappointed by Saw 6. Definitely the most gorey though.

BTW- I read on the Saw official forum that at the end of the movie, after Hoffman is screaming but before the credits, they show a man laughing for a quick second. Did anyone notice this?

um.... its G.I. Joe. You are seriously picking apart the writing?

Actually no, that wasn't what I was trying to say, it'd be silly to be too picky on that kind of movie too much. The action was awesome, big dumb summer blockbuster fun. I just thought it was really lame for them to go so far as to

have the bad guys assume the identity of the President of the United States

and then say nothing, absolutely nothing about it for the rest of the movie. It's not like it was a "Luke, I am your father" bombshell either because you already knew it happened, if you're not going to bother to address it why mention it at all? They may as well have run a trailer for "G.I. Joe 2, coming summer 2010!"

Oh another minor annoyance in the movie was when they showed a flashback scene for Duke where he's wearing his dress uniform and he has on major rank. In the movie's present, Duke is a captain in the Army. Whoops. Being a veteran totally ruins these things, I can't help but to notice and they stick out like a sore thumb.

Having said that I would take G.I. Joe over Transformers 2 any day. There were no obvious facepalming "why the f*** did they put this in the movie" moments like with Transformers 2.

Remember, Bay left the major facepalming moments for part 2. Sommers doesnt exactly have the best resume when it comes to continuity and believability either.

G.I. Joe requires a complete and total suspension of disbelief, there is nothing realistic about it whatsoever. You realize this about 5 minutes into the movie. I was fine with that.

G.I. Joe requires a complete and total suspension of disbelief. . .

Whereas Transformers 2 requires a lobotomy?

Just got back from Saw 6. Even though it lacked a great surprise ending like most of the other ones, I loved this movie. Nice rebound. Consistent through out, though there's still many questions to be answered. Guess we're looking at a 7?

I've still gotta see 5 & 6 obviously, but I've read that they've signed on until at least 7.

There is definitely going to be a 7th. If you type it in on google, they've already announced some of the cast/plot.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Oct 23, 2009 -> 02:00 AM)
I actually saw it today. Some disturbing visuals, a whole lot of slow motion, ample psychobabble throughout and copious amounts of ugly sex. Honestly, I don't even know what to think of it.

Agreed. It may take a while for it all to settle in because right now I'm not sure whether I liked it or not.

Just saw The Ex on Comedy Central, I thought it was pretty good, but then again I  Zach Braff and Jason Bateman.

IIRC the series is being written for 9 of them.
