On Windows it sounds like iTunes is staying.  On Mac, the app is splitting into three (podcasts, music, TV).  Based on what I'm reading, the store will still exist for music and video and will be acce

What kind of grip does this thing have? Are there little rubber strips along the side? If it's anything like my iphone, the thing will slip right out of my hands unless I get a cover for it.

I don't think it does; I did order a case for it, which sort of doubles for a stand it appears. And in all the photos and videos I cannot seem to pick out any sort of case for it.

But from the reviews I've read, it seems as though it is very comfortable to hold.

this looks sweet.

Hah..doh! It didn't even occur to me that that would be a joke. Not that I wanted one, but honestly, are there not dumber products put out every day? :)

Good one though, I admit I thought it was totally real.

I thought it was real too until I googled it and a CNN article came up about April Fool's hoaxes. Actually, I kinda thought it was a good idea.

I didn't want to make a new thread, but did you guys hear about Verizon now getting a new version of the iPhone in the summer with massive production in the fall? Supposedly it's a smaller screen(rumor). Finally, the iPhone is on a good carrier. Hooray for VZW.

iPad is here....I didn't have a new enough OS version! Had to brave to lunatics at the store and get Snow Leopard. The store was very organized though, got in and out of there in a minute.

Here goes the new install....

Don't think of it as too big to be a cell phone. Think of it as lighter and easier than a laptop.

That it does too. Me any my woman are thinking about leaving Verizon for Sprint. I had them in the past, but the lady suggested we go with VZ. I might end up getting that when my contract is up. We shall see.

Got the new OSX installed, and iTunes wouldn't recognize the iPad. Had to re-install the latest version of iTunes, and it is setting up the iPad now. Finally.
