April 1, 201016 yr What kind of grip does this thing have? Are there little rubber strips along the side? If it's anything like my iphone, the thing will slip right out of my hands unless I get a cover for it.

I don't think it does; I did order a case for it, which sort of doubles for a stand it appears. And in all the photos and videos I cannot seem to pick out any sort of case for it. But from the reviews I've read, it seems as though it is very comfortable to hold.

April 3, 201016 yr Author iPad is here....I didn't have a new enough OS version! Had to brave to lunatics at the store and get Snow Leopard. The store was very organized though, got in and out of there in a minute. Here goes the new install....

April 3, 201016 yr Author Got the new OSX installed, and iTunes wouldn't recognize the iPad. Had to re-install the latest version of iTunes, and it is setting up the iPad now. Finally.
