Morel has played very well at all levels. .320 at AAA and he's a plus defender.

Morel's a lot more likely to take over 3b full time next year if Vizquel gets hurt than DV is.

I hope Morel takes advantage of this opportunity. If he's only a 15 homer guy with great defense, I'll take it.

Its about time Manny drives in a run, maybe even get an extra base hit. For all the credit he gets around here, he's basically been Juan Pierre with no wheels since he's been a White Sox. The Sox need him to come alive this homestand.

This year, with this playoff system, the FedEx Cup plays, and that is entirely because of Tiger. No man can make something buzz like Mr. Woods, and his struggles make this interesting. It's like when the Cowboys or Yankees are in danger of missing the playoffs. Sure, the Jaguars or Twins might be cruising into the playoffs, but nobody cares about that. They care about the mighty sports franchises falling flat on their respective faces. It's our culture to praise negative news over positive news, and this year's Race to the Cup is that perfectly exemplified.

 

Thought this was funny that the Twins were specifically mentioned in a golf article (yahoo sports) as a team nobody cares when they win or get to the playoffs.

 

Doubt we'll feel that way with their fanbase occupying USCF next week.
