He was easily the worst starter out of the regular 5 last year. But Freddy had lots of things going his way for the majority of last season. We saw what he really was at the end of the season.

Putz singing elsewhere, and the Sox signing Jenks on the cheap would be a horrible start for the 2011 'Pen.

He can make far more money if he signs for 1 year with someone and proves that he's a healthy, quality closer again, and then cashes in next year.

 

I can't imagine why he'd want to sign with a rebuilding team for multiple years unless they are showing him 2/$14 or something.
