Finished my last exam for the semester, drinking a Duvel to celebrate, doing laundry then packing up and getting ready to head out to the airport.

Doing these next 5 weeks big, got 3 trips planned:

1)

London

Edinburgh

2)

Barcelona

Marrakech

Lisbon

Zurich

3)

Belgium

Berlin

Krakow

Vienna

Spend a recovery night in between each at my apartment in Rotterdam, last night will be in Amsterdam and flying back to the States early on April 26th. I can't believe Im about to do this!!

Wow, I have no idea what I would do if I lost one of my childhood friends like that, Im sorry for you loss.

I've only had to go through that once. Had a friend put a gun behind his ear. It's just so surreal.

I had two friends killed in a car wreck when we were juniors in high school. Too real

Thanks alot Keith. Was way too young to go. Just heard he had an overdose on pills (I believe pain pills). Crazy thing was, he left Chicago to get out of trouble for a while.

He left chicago for vegas to rid himself of his demons... sin city seems like one of the last places to go... no?

Since i don't know the full details, he very well could have just been visiting. Otherwise, i question his sincerity to getting clean.

His father lived there. I was actually asking myself the same thing before I found out about his dad living in Vegas. And he wasn't a drug addict when I said he left Chicago to get out of trouble. But the dude (well I won't say without a doubt, but pretty much all of us believe this) was a steroid user. He pushed himself to the limit on everything. He was also an emotional wreck when it came to women. I have my own conclusions, but I can't turn back time to go talk some sense into him. (again) Still very sad to hear though. Felt like yesterday we were playing basketball and video games as 10-12 year old kids.

I had someone ask me to copy their old VHS wedding video over to a DVD. There is a lot of what I am calling "wobble" were you get the horizontal wavy lines int he video. there's a lot of degradation. I've tried adjusting the tracking, but that doesnt seem to work.

Any other suggestions? I am trying to save this as much as possible,

Just hand them a blank DVD. I guarantee they will never watch it. :D

Is that Will Smiths latest CD?

Wow, local weather forecasters have gotten good enough to use, as far as I can tell, the Doppler-shift of returning radar waves in order to look for rotation within storm systems.

I wish, that'd make it easier to come by some.

Last time I was in this part of the country, they couldn't do that.

When the weather's bad down here, the weather men on the local channels are like scientists.

For most, college is nothing but a really expensive piece of paper.

Out of curiosity, what do you have to do for the capstone?

you could have used the opportunity to take more challenging or interesting courses?

According to the class catalog:

"Selected communications theories are examined in the context of contemporary issues/questions. Seminar-style analysis and application of concepts based on readings selected to support discussions about one or more current critical issues in communication. Topics vary with instructor/semester. Offered every semester. Prerequisites: Senior standing; School of Communications major."

But what really happens is me sitting there for 3 hours working on other things.

Well the COM and CBR classes are required for me to graduate. The others are easy fillers in order to be a full-time student. I need all the time I can since I'll be working and calling games for 3 different sports, as well as trying to find a job/internship after graduation.

fair enough!

Dammit, I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 and have a problem editing posts. It basically keeps the cursor from being inserted anywhere but at the end. I also cannot add to the end of a post is I quote someone. f***, I hate s*** like this,

Was at work today and there was a commercial for some animated movie and one of the characters did some variation of John McClane's "Yippy Ki Yi Yay!' and for some reason the theme song to this krept its way out of a file cabinet in my brain and now it is stuck in my head.
