Flowers is a bit of a breath of fresh air from AJ, but he still has a lot to refine in his game next year. He will be best served being the backup next year because he will learn the small things like that on the major league team, and there should be plenty of playing time.

Pretty close play... atleast we can applaud the effort and aggressiveness shown there by Flowers which is lacking by many others from this team.

Shame on Ozzie for never holding a single player accountable all season except Rios for 2 games.

As awful as this season has been, it's completely depressing to think the Sox are stuck with Rios and Dunn for three more seasons.

He's inept. There isn't one thing he does at the major league level -- hit for average (no), hit for power (no), run (no), field (no) and catch (no).

 

The Chairman needs to make somebody answer for wasting $56 million.

You are confusing "having a bad season" with "has no skills". Dunn has more power than almost anyone in this league, and to think otherwise is ridiculous, really.

 

1.) We can't contend with Dunn and Rios. So we are in for a long season again next year.

2.) People that think Dunn can rebound ... well we have no argument against you cause he can suck and suck and you can always say, "He'll turn it around."

It's like people who this year said "it's early" all year long. Hell a lot of people think we're still in the race cause "there's time." It'll finally run out and then the word will be wait til next year when Dunn and Rios return to form. At some point you have to accept facts: Dunn and Rios are done.
