The Youth Revolution continues

I love that flowers is proving just about the whole world wrong.

i know the mariners suck but this makes me feel a little better for 2012 that flowers and viciedo can be key contributors

De Aza, Flowers, and Viciedo are our best hitters not named Konerko.

AAA hitting coach deserves a promotion.

Good swing by Beckham again.

Is this a sweet game or what ? !!

It's really fun watching guys like Viciedo, De Aza and Flowers right now.

Vargas is being hung out to dry here.

Our minor league system not looking so bad all of a sudden.

If a general manager believes that a manager should be fired and he is told no by someone in ownership, then he should resign.

The general manager position would practically be nonexistent if this were the case.

Someone not as lazy as me should do a combined stats on those 3 since they have been up. I knows it like 3 triples maybe 4, 5 HR and a pretty decent BA and OPS.

At least IMO, the General Manager's position is to be the dominant guy in the organization. He should be the decision maker for everything except hiring/firing the GM. Everything baseball related...the roster, the scouts, the manager, the players, should be decided by him.

You can have a President above him who also oversees marketing and financial aspects in other ways, but the buck should stop at the GM's desk for the product on the field.

If you do otherwise, then you're letting the business side have too much influence on making baseball decisions.

:sweep:

What's that, 3 perfect, beautiful swing hits for Konerko?

I love the Cap'n ... on an 0-2

Beckham getting hits and even Lillibridge against a right hander. He's got maybe 12 RBI in his last 13 games.
