September 28, 201114 yr Hitting coaches don't impact the game all that much. Those who are celebrating are just grasping at something to soothe their pain. We need people who can hit, and that trumps the minor concern of who their advisor is.

I guess next year we will find out if Walker was at least partially to blame for our awful offense. I've never thought it was 100% his fault, but surely he needs part of the blame. Let's hope to replace him with someone capable of getting more out of Rios, Dunn, Beckham and Morel.
