September 29, 201114 yr QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 09:21 PM) Linebrink in for the Braves. They're hosed. This will be interesting.
September 29, 201114 yr Any White Sox fan worth their salt could have called this. Linebrink is beyond terrible.
September 29, 201114 yr Poor Braves' fans, stuck with Scott Linebrink. That was predictable enough. The only thing that wasn't was the fact it wasn't a 3 run homer. Rays fans must have been elated not to see Mariano Rivera out there in the bottom of the 9th. Edited September 29, 201114 yr by caulfield12
September 29, 201114 yr QUOTE (SnB @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 10:24 PM) Thank you MLB network, thank you so much. This has been such a treat. Outstanding night of baseball. Can't believe the Braves are choking so bad and the Rays came back from a 7-0 deficit. Unreal.
September 29, 201114 yr f***ing Rays don't even look like they deserve it, even after that comeback. Is their offense really this bad? Every guy going up there is batting as bad as Dunn.
September 29, 201114 yr Holliday with a great quote "really appreciate how hard the Phillies played".
September 29, 201114 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 09:45 PM) f***ing Rays don't even look like they deserve it, even after that comeback. Is their offense really this bad? Every guy going up there is batting as bad as Dunn. Yes. They are victims of no hitters as much as the Sox.
September 29, 201114 yr That's 9 NL Central championships in 16 years for the Cardinals. LaRussa definitely won't be leaving now, and Carpenter's also back in the fold, Rasmus was ditched, etc. Right up there with Gardenhire and obviously behind what Bobby Cox accomplished.
September 29, 201114 yr QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 09:34 PM) Poor Braves' fans, stuck with Scott Linebrink. That was predictable enough. The only thing that wasn't was the fact it wasn't a 3 run homer. Rays fans must have been elated not to see Mariano Rivera out there in the bottom of the 9th. When you're bad you are also luck bad. Linebrink made a good pitch but.............he's Linebrink.
