November 10, 201114 yr QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 03:22 PM) So whats the deal with Quintana, he looks like he could be something and is only 22... Too many walks or something? His walk rate was 2.5/9. Um, was he in the minors too long? He signed with the Mets at 17... That is a great question. Yankees fans sure seemed to like him. This link has some fan chatter, including his stuff. http://forums.nyyfans.com/showthread.php/1...2-Jose-Quintana

November 10, 201114 yr QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 04:10 PM) Veal seems meh, but this Quintana guy seems.......somewhat legit. I'm really perplexed by Quintana.
November 10, 201114 yr Kenny finally got his man... We drafted Veal in like 2003 or sometime way back then, but he went to college.
November 10, 201114 yr QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) I'm really perplexed by Quintana. I'm just confused by why the Yankees would just let him go. He will be 23 when the season starts, and probably be assigned to Birmingham. That's an appropriate age, and his numbers have been good. I wonder if he is just a terrible teammate or something? Off the field issues?
November 10, 201114 yr QUOTE (Cali @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 05:06 PM) Her? Is there a picture in the above post that's just not loading? Otherwise, I don't get what you're saying.
November 10, 201114 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 10, 2011 -> 09:18 PM) A Veal Quintana does sound like something I'd try at a fancy Mexican Restaurant. I might have to go to one tonight and check the menu Amigo!
