May 6, 201213 yr Mark, in his four losses, has been trailing 3-1, 2-0, 2-1 and 7-0 when he left those games. Only two runs of support in those 4 games. The defense in the 7-0 game let in 3-4 additional runs.

You're right, when the Sox are starting Molina, Quintana and Castro next year to go along with Floyd, it would have been great to have Buehrle and his 4.00 ERA for 13 million a year to help the team win 75 games instead of 72. It was the right business decision to let him go, and let's just hope Danks can turn it around.

May 11, 201213 yr Buehrle versus Johan Santana, 3-0 Marlins leading in the 3rd. Marlins have had quite a stretch against mostly subpar teams to get right back into the race. Phillies are in last for now and still searching for offense.
