Didn't pitch a shutout this time?

Nope.

EDIT: Not allowed to engage others in potential verbal conflicts.

Sounds like they were unearned runs

The team I subbed for in the tournament today got destroyed. It was ugly. I played Rcf for the first time in about 3 years. Held my own, but had a costly drop when a guy hit one that tailed away at the last second and hit off the tip of my glove. I was really pissed at myself

On the rare occasion I play RF, I pray the ball is never hit to me.

The opposite hook of the ball takes some getting used to

Even when a lefty came up, I'd hope for a grounder

Yes sir.

16" softball last weekend the team I'm on finished 4th out of 16 teams. Since it was a double elimination tournament we lost twice. The first loss snapped a streak of 41 straight wins in tournaments in our area. Not a good time!

Trying to win the 'ship tonight.

Good luck to you good sir. Hopefully you don't have to play right

Doesn't sound like I'll need to...Thank God

We laid a big fat egg. Our SS/best hitter was hurt and our defense blew. Oh, and the team we lost to brought 4 ringers.

They ended up winning the tourney after finishing 6-5 in regular season. What's that say?

That you blew it?!?

That they cheated. I sleep better thinking that instead of crying over my 1 for 4.

It always made me sick that leagues allowed teams to get away with loading up for the playoffs.

It's disgusting to play the season within the rules only to face an A-league team when the cash is on the line.

I guess I can't blame the cheaters - if people like that can get away with something, they usually will try to.

If I ran a league I'd have a drivers license check before every game.

That's the thing, they don't enforce it, so teams do it. I would do roster checks before playoff games. I'm not the captain so I don't know how many names you're allowed on a roster, but I'd make it 12 or 13.

Too bad you couldn't have recruited a strikeout pitcher to counter them loading up

The other team wasn't full of girls and people who don't play.

Walked them off wed and thursday. Exciting week of playoffs.

Arlington Heights does roster checks before playoff games now because of the complaints. So, I actually do have to bring my drivers license to games.

So a guy on my softball team said he plays on the same team as Ricky Williams on Fridays here in Austin.

That seems pretty unfair.

You should probably check out one of this guy's Friday night games....
