People who were penciling him in as the Sox #3 starter did not expect him to have a sub 2 ERA because that's best in MLB ACE kind of numbers.

 

In fact most comparisons I saw was, Mark Buehrle, middle of the order type pitcher that will give you 200 innings and can be lights out on occasion, when hitting his spots.

Did a little digging, and in the 2nd half predictions poll, you voted Jose Quintana as the most likely player to continue his early season success in the 2nd half. That he would pitch like "a prime Mark Buehrle" through the 2nd half. That was July 6th, when he had a 2.06 ERA......
