And 9th out of 11 in terms of OPS in the AL

Efficiency, I like it

0 home runs.

Sox continue to give up home runs to some of the worst players on the opposition.

Alexei w/ RISP: .341

A.L. SS RBI race: Ramirez #1

Back to the island with you!

And how many are in the clutch??? How bonehead plays has he made that extend innings and cost us the game? Get real really...

The idea of Heath pitching doesn't bother me and with the state of this bullpen...someone in his position probably needed to...but guys like him pitching after weeks of inactivity is not a good position to be in

Flavum, season over after Monday night?

That didn't stop Wise from pitching effectively

According to him the season was over three weeks ago

Well thank you for providing a reason.

Bad defense, bad at bats may I say more?

Well thats cherry picking from alot of good he had this year

Probably. If they get eliminated during the Bears game nobody will know it, nor will they care.

this organization is in trouble, if you thought this years attendance was bad, wait til next year when they can't break .500 and Detroit gets another big bat (VMart) in that lineup

ohhhh boy lol

High leverage: 120 PA, 31 RBI, .290 BA

Med: 229 PA, 24 RBI, .281 BA

Low: 254 PA, 17 RBI, .250 BA

Looks like he gets better in the clutch!

Hey, I've loved flavum's post about standings/upcoming schedule all year.

Thats great he still said that in a gamethread three weeks ago.

Cherry picking really???? AJ had a nice run here, but the time has come to move on

We all thought this last year, and that was before the Tigers added Prince.

Yeah that was the definition of cherry picking. Basically taking all the good away(one of his best years) and looking at the bad. Im not a fan of putting Tyler Flowers at the starting catcher spot.

Ramirez showing up late that game we somehow lost to the Royals largely because of Olmedo...Ramirez getting picked off 3B....then his horrible hitting with RISP in the final 3 weeks.

I don't want him traded, but I'm not going to be terrible disappointed either if they can get a good return for him.

Can you chalk up all the s***ty AB's and bonehead plays that have cost us?

I wouldn't trade him. He's not great, but at least you know what you're getting with him.

I would assume season ticket sales will be 4000 less than this year or so cause of the lousy economy. Sox may need to make a splash and add somebody, anybody who might sell tickets. I'd bring back Buehrle for ticket reasons, get Miami to pay some of the contract and try to add a power starter as well.

And if you can trade Rios, do so and try to add a bat.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 29, 2012 -> 04:52 PM)
Is Gavin included in that number?

No.

Again, why would season ticket sales be less next year as opposed to what they were coming into this year? Sox fans HATED the 2011 Sox team/organization, and that played a huge role in the 2012 dismal ticket sales. 2013 should hopefully see a boost from a competitive 2012. And can you please stop mentioning Buerhle in every post you make? His contract is terrible in the years to come, and it's not like he was overly great this season.
