Chicago White Stockings vs. Montreal Expos

In case you were wondering, Pelfrey looks terrible. He's Jon Garland with a worse sinker. Can get guys to roll over the ball when he keeps it low, but it's a fat, flat 91 MPH 4-seamer if it's at the belt or higher, and his offspeed looked terrible.

Jayson Werth looks like Tom Hanks in Castaway with that beard (at least his yahoo sport picture).

What's with the recent beard trend? Not going to take off.

Just when I say something nice about Peavy, the non-clutch, not-Big Game version returns. SIGH.

The Nats announcer totally called that pitch

yeah just leave him in

Javy Peavy :)

I'm hoping for the best, but is anyone going to be surprised if the Sox are 11-16 on May 1st?

This team could go either way.

They get to do the home run or nothing approach!!!!

Is Flowers calling pitches or is the bench this season?

Peavy is getting assaulted, he's done

So who do we leadoff with? Wise I guess.

Probably makes the most sense.

Sox starters are seemingly done after 80 pitches so far this year in terms of having anything left in the tank. I wonder if that's happening around baseball.

Plenty of wasted opportunities tonight, just gotta come away from the road trip at 5-5.

Gavin Floyd tomorrow....I guess Ill start drinking early.

Well, one thing about last year's team...they didn't lie down and die in these situations.

We'll see how they respond.

y'all are pathetic.

There have been a lot of good pitchers that didn't have good second starts this year for some reason.

I'll take 4-6 and not be upset. Nats, IMO, are the best team in baseball by far.

I've always felt like Gavin's stuff would be great in the NL

And Axelrod always has one of those 5-6-7 ER games just lurking around the corner.

I'd be happy with 4-6 on this trip. Just don't have one of those April/May collapses like 2010 or 2011.

It definitely would
