so the sCrub can use the sox park. interesting.... i wonder if JR would be nice and split

the gate receipts with them?

personally think the sCrubs will swallow the pill and use their park.

My guess would be that the Cubs would get ticket sales but the Sox would get parking/concessions.

White sox would get nothing they own nothing of the park.

Cub would just play at Wrigley .

I think you mean the Cell

If you guys didn't see, Pedro Strop got in a car accident last night in DR. Luckily, it seems like he is going to be ok, but Kaplan tweeted out a picture of his car, and it looked pretty beat up. Glad that he's expected to be ok.

Jason Hammel back to the Cubs. 2 year $18 million. 3rd year option. Really good deal for them.

No, the cubs will play at Wrigley during the bleacher rehab.

Meh. He doesn't have much of a track record and that's probably above market value for a #5. I think they could lose this deal quite easily. Surely could go either way though.

Could be. That's not very much money if he pitches close to what he did last year. Obviously a candidate for regression though. Like it much better in the NL.

I never knew this.

P.K. Wrigley was to install lights at Wrigley in 1942; instead donated them to a shipyard the day after Pearl Harbor.

That is really really interesting.

It's only 2 years though, it's not like it's going to kill them.

Yeah, I think that Hammel signing was a great one for them.

The ripple effect of the the White Sox deals impact the cub.

With the Central getting tighter Detroit will have to sign Max and hold onto Price who Gammons rumored was going to the cub if the Tigers signed Max.

NY has the Robertson money to go after Max and Lester thus bumping their price up and potentially out of the cub price range.

Miami is looking hard at Shields.

The PR battle took a hit with these moves as well although the minion love their high priced managers.

Miguel Montero trade to #Cubs is agreed upon, source confirms, and #DBacks receiving two players in return.

Good. They can have him. Ill take my chances with Flowers. Gave up a pretty interesting prospect in Meija.

Meija was a good get by the Diamondbacks

Cubs talking with Rockies. Cargo the big bat to entice Lester?

Hopefully he would take the Jeff Blauser Title of once a Cubs killer, always a Cubs killer

I would figure Baez and Edwards would be the center pieces.

Castillo for sure as well. If Rockies make that trade, they might as well trade Tulo to the Mets.

Agreed, get as much value back as you can.
