How is it that other QBs are sometimes able to go hundreds of pass attempts without an INT when they have to deal with such things?

The curl route was covered the fly was wide open. If jay recognized this as marshall did it would have been a touchdown.

Why exactly? With the defense as bad as it is, Jay is either going to take the Bears to the promise land or he isn't. It goes through him and the offense. And nothing in his time with the Bears has led me to believe he's THAT good.

Because these absolutes are just nonsense in sports, especially football, where plenty of worse teams than this one have gone on runs and won super bowls. Things can change so quickly in the NFL. It is impossible for anyone to make an absolute judgment like that after 5 games.

I've been very slow to jump on the Wilson bandwagon, given the quality of his team's roster and how much less he has to throw than the other top QBs. But everytime I watch him play, I become more and more impressed with him. He's legit and he costs less than a million dollars each of the next two years.

Kaep did roast us...but I'm remembering back to the game in 2012 at Soldier Field in December...I think we lost 23-17 in OT after leading the entire game. That was the game where Wilson really showed just how good he could be.

Not many do. And for those that do, you will typically find that you are talking about a top 3 QB. Yes, QB's from time to time have various streaks but the guys that throw minimal picks are either top 3 or so in the league at the time and typically in similar systems with good protection, etc. Or in rare exceptions they are a game manager and have fewer attempts or some other variable.

Had Marshall stopped and ball thrown back to him, I don't think that play was covered.
