Exactly. The Bears needed to imitate the San Diego game plans last year (a playoff team with a bad defense) where they dominated time of possession. They have completely failed at that every game.

The defense is what it is but Cutler should be driving to give his defense rest.

There isn't a player on the defense as talented as Marshall/Jeffrey/Forte

They finally called NE for a defensive penalty. That was the right call, Bennett would've broken it up

Cutler has no ability to think independently. He still decides his receiver before the play. He just has a scheme that is less likely to burn him for doing it now
