With a 15-15 league split, it's a necessary evil. I'd like it better if it were 12 games instead of 20.

I hate the heavily unbalanced schedule more than interleague though. 19 games against 4 teams is ridiculous.

I like the unbalanced schedule. It really is more accurate representation of who is the best team in the division.

I don't believe in divisions, so there's that.

Well he's been hitting well...

I know. The thought of Conor Gillaspie hitting clean-up isn't a good one though.

I'm fine with the lineup. Keep Ramirez and Flowers where they are. You can mess with De Aza and Gillaspie. Gillaspie has been hitting well.

Lineup a sneak peak at what the sox post 2014 will look like. Strange not seeing Dunn or PK in a lineup.

Who else do you want batting 4th?

Cespedes, Ortiz, Cabrera...

Gillaspie hitting 4th is fine

Our pitchers have given up only 1 HR this year, albeit in six games. Tied for the fewest in the majors.

Trevor Bell has an ERA of 135.00 right now. And Jhonny Peralta may need another round of juice.

I'm sure he can find some in St. Louis.

I'm not saying we have better options. I'm just saying our options aren't very good.

Rios is having a nice start to the season.

I don't mind it except for the DH/No DH thing.

Exactly

TEX just tried putting the shift on AJ. He of course went after an outside pitch and poked it thru the hole

Since they have them, I think it's the best way. However, I agree with you. Get rid of the divisions and just take the top 6 from each league and do playoffs with that seeding to get an AL and NL champ. Then do the WS.

Eaton's been really good at getting to 3-ball counts so far, less good at taking the 4th ball

Looking at the stands it appears the Rockies may have to move to Portland as well.

Although Lyles was really given that 4th pitch strike call. That ball was up.

After reading that article, I couldn't help but laugh at how many times the writer said a variation of "and another problem is...."

How the f*** did Cargo hit that out? Jesus.

Not the best time for a hanging slider.

At 95 with the fastball.
