This year has a Maverick Buffo too. Pretty sick.

Haha, that's a great one too.

I wouldn't worry much about Rodon's signability, if there was potential for a problem the Sox likely would have rolled the dice on Nola instead.

Direct. of am. scouting Doug Laumann said it's unfair to put Rodon on a Chris Sale fast track. Sale arrived 2 mos. after he was drafted.

Maybe that's a negotiating thing. I'm not reading into that one way or the other.

He'll get signed. He'll pitch. He'll be up when he's ready.

What a f***ing turn of events, this was unimaginable this time last year.

I seriously can't believe Houston and Miami passed on him.

Good pick. Pitching depth could be scary good

Handsome Monica? Probably takes the award for weirdest, but definitely not better than Duke Newcomb or Touki Toussaint.

Last year Stryker Trahan and Storm Throne were some pretty great ones.

Where the hell do they come up with these names?

Hoffman and Fedde both top 18.

Whelp...Selig just butchered UNLV

would have loved to see the sox draft room when the the astros took kolek lol

Reds taking Nick Howard. He could be in the bullpen this year with a chance to start. This has to push Burdi to Detroit right?

Also, Nats love them some TJ.

The topic of teams being gun shy about taking pitchers due to all the TJ surgeries was made foolish.

Worked out well with Giolito.

Might be getting close to Gillaspie time. Will Selig say it wrong?

Not knocking it at all. A feasible approach. They also drafted an injured Rendon.

I was reading a piece from BA not long ago about the success rate of the first round college closers. It's patchy at very best. Good luck to whoever takes Burdi.

LOL, Handsome Monica just retweeted me.

Nice!

See ya little Gillaspie.

He sure didn't.
