I didn't realize that ball hit Gomes in the face, and not off the monster.

I thought it hit off the monster then ricocheted to his face .

Haha, neither did I. Him and De Aza should hang out and trade stories.

Conor Gillaspie is blossoming into a star, no kidding.

No k's, don't target Sale.

De Aza hitting .351/.400/.527 since June 4th

Maybe Davidson will be trade bait then.

Not a star, but he is certainly looking like he could have some staying power for at least a few years for either us or another team if Davidson keeps up his summer.

Damn thought the Rodon announcement was coming there. Instead the signing of two guys no one cares about.

Good, trade him.

Sale needs one more out for a sub 2 ERA, and after this game he'll be qualified. If he keeps it scoreless, he'll slot in first in AL ERA and second in the majors behind Wainwright.

100 pitches for Sale. He needs two outs to get the ERA under 2--in front of Farrell.

Hawk said Asian pitchers have a funky motion again.

He was qualified after his last game, but then lost it 2 days later. He keeps towing the line. He will be fine after his post-ASG start.

Top 10 things hitters have said vs. Sale was fantastic.

The hell was that?

We're going to cost him a shot at lowering his ERA below 2 because no one was covering second.

Shouldn't the catcher be backing up 1B and not the 2B there?

...infield double?

Hard hit double.

Bye bye Chris, love you.

No Robin. Bad. No. Leave him.

Great start for Sale.

Hopefully Jake can get the third out and allow Chris to....ahem....Sale.... into the break with an ERA below two.
