Makes me wonder if they give Viciedo all of the at bats the rest of the way in LF, or if they give them to Sierra or Mitchell.

Is sierra even back yet?

Rehab assignment in AAA.

both prospects have pitched decently this year.

Sweet. Hopefully this is the start of a new crop of arms coming aboard. Hopefully we'll be seeing the lousy pitchers in the Sox bullpen moving on in coming days, weeks, months.

Orioles acquired OF Alejandro De Aza from the White Sox for RHPs Miguel Chalas and Mark Blackmar.

De Aza has good speed and can play all three outfield positions, making him a nice addition to the Baltimore bench for the stretch run. The 30-year-old was batting .243/.309/.354 with 15 stolen bases in 122 games this season for the White Sox. He'll be arbitration-eligible for the third and final time this winter. Chalas and Blackmar are non-prospects.

The odds of either making MLB contributions are slim, but yea... it's something. De Aza had actually played his way to some value over the past couple months.

Guess he doesn't watch baseball

One irony? The O's have 3 quality OF's and a couple days ago someone here suggested signing one of their OF/DH types, Delmon Young, this offseason was a good idea.

Hahn says trading Beckham, De Aza frees up $10 million-plus for 2015 that can go to other players

Blackmar as a starter this year has a 2.79 ERA with a 1.09 WHIP in 18 starts.

Glad to see we seemingly got something decent for De Aza as I see him as a solid hitter.

Give some of that to James Shields.

Rick Hahn thought offering them arbitration was a good idea?

Eh, I could see Ale' getting offered Arb. He actually turned it around the past couple months.

That's what I was thinking too.....he actually wanted them back?

Hahn on more moves Sunday: "Deadline is 11 o’clock tomorrow. So we are going to keep working and exploring some opportunities."

11am or 11pm?

And are more deals in the work?

For the sake of the Sox and Dunn, send him to a contending team to finish his career.

I think his mental errors on the field were just too much for them to deal with.

If the O's got Dunn, would they have to cut their current DH?

26 hours. Bye Dunn.

I think his mental errors on the field were just too much for them to deal with.

Hence those mental errors are the Oreos problem now. It would've been silly though to not hang on to him for $4m, he's worth that kinda money.

Im calling it. Sox trade for hamels in offseason.

I like this. Let Wilkins play
