April 1, 201511 yr QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 03:32 PM) Chris Sale gave up an opposite-field home run in his second inning of work. Followed it with strikeouts sandwiched around a grounder. https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/583347323490562048 I've said it before and I'll say it again. Trade for that guy.

April 1, 201511 yr QUOTE (ptatc @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 02:31 PM) This is a different version than what you had. The only time I have ever seen it used is in a non-union fracture of the hand. a non-union fracture is when normal healing is not occurring and the bone is not forming the callus to heal. It's usually the the last option before surgical intervention. They use it for horses because their bones to not heal well, similar to a non-union in humans. The horses are usually put down instead of trying to heal the bones, unless of course they are of a certain bloodline. I would seriously doubt if this sped up the healing process as his fracture has healed in a fairly normal timeline because it wasn't a full break but an avulsion. Will commence to break down the life-threatening injuries to Seabiscuit and Secretariat...in 3, 2, 1. Kluber, Ventura and David Price are ACES, period. That's absurb, Sale. How could you give up a run?, that's horsesh-- stuff!, there. Real cause for concern about his ever returning to prior form. Edited April 1, 201511 yr by caulfield12
April 6, 201511 yr https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/585138142342160384 Chris Sale looked sharp in his final tuneup. Pitched five innings, allowed a run, three hits, walked two and struck out seven. Should be a go for Sunday. Edited April 6, 201511 yr by flavum

April 9, 201511 yr With a day off Monday and Thursday, I would dfa Drabek as the corresponding roster move for Sale. Go with 6 relievers for three games, hope Petricka comes back next weekend and then send down one of Sanchez/Johnson.
