I am so underwhelmed by Dowell Loggains being promoted to offensive coordinator.

I think it's probably the right move. Also, he's unlikely to move on and likely to use the Gase system.

Who did you want?

For anything you want to complain about, John Fox has a very strong record of moving coaching talent upwards. Gase started as Denver's WR coach for 2 years, then was their QB coach for 2 years, then moved up to OC and now is off to head coach. He replaced Mike McCoy who had the same path - QB coach, then coordinator, then in-demand HC candidate. That shouldn't be an unexpected promotion and it's hard to say Fox hasn't earned some benefit of the doubt on promoting his coordinators from within when they're all hired as head coaches within 2-3 years.

Sounds like the Rams and Chargers are headed to Los Angeles

I wish Kroenke got f***ed over in all of this. He truly was the bad guy

From 0 teams to 2...

You knew the NFL would screw the Raiders if they could.

Being told the #Chargers are pretty angry at how it's turned out.

Local sources suggest San Antonio could be a potential target for the Raiders should they remain stuck in Oakland. I'm not sure how realistic that is, but San Antonio and Austin are only some 60 miles apart on 80 MPH highways. Theoretically, the Raiders could be exposed to 4 million in SA.

In reality, San Antonio is likely to unseat Los Angeles as a "shield" by which teams can negotiate with their home markets.

I'm looking at it from this standpoint, changing it to the Bears for example.

My wife knows who Jay Cutler is. My wife has no clue who Sherrod Martin is. If Cutler has a similar history as Ben, I have to answer to her as to why I'm still a Bears fan. If Martin has that history, it never becomes an issue.

I also know who Jay Cutler is and have no idea who Sherrod Martin is. Asking for a friend, are HickoryHiskers and Middle Buffalo a couple?

More sources on twitter appear to be confirming this. Can't believe it's happening. So strange.

Makes absolute sense. Privately funded deal. I understand why Chargers wanted Raiders though, public market studies indicate Chargers would be the preferred LA team in a scenario where you had Chargers / Raiders. Rams are top preferred team (by a pretty large margin) when they are here (no idea why this is the case cause the Rams were never talked about positively when I was a kid). Presuming economics work in favor of Chargers having 50/50 control with Kroenke, I would think that alleviates some of the concerns over revenue sharing.

The funny part will be what happens to Spanos after Raiders eventually move to San Diego in future, LOL.

Raiders had no Stadium proposal, but are threatening to go to the Alamodome already.

They would be completely out of place down here.

The Rams need to call Saban. He's got a solid team. Get a QB and you're off and flying in LA

The Rams are playing at least 3 seasons in the Coliseum? That should go well.

Looking at that Inglewood stadium, wow does that look massive. Is now the time to buy cheap property by the Forum? I went to Hollywood Park around 5 years, the neighborhood did not seem to have much going for it.

God Kroenke is a slime ball.

The NFL also prefers an AFC/NFC combo to share a market to draw league wide interest.

This makes the most sense to me. Two teams from the same division in the same stadium never made sense to me, plus the Rams are putting more of their own money into a new stadium in LA.

I get that the St. Louis people are upset about losing the team, but people weren't going to the games. Every time the Bears played there, the place was more than half Bears fans.

I completely understand them being upset too, but the city did take the Rams away from LA initially.

First thing the Rams should do is go back to those blue and white uniforms.

Hopefully Nike and the Rams can come up with some kind of "updated classic" look.

How about they move the Jags. Jacksonville is a bloody awful place to have a football team.

It will never happen, but the NFL should probably just get rid of like 4 teams.

There are rumors that Shad Khan could move the Jaguars to St. Louis at some point but he always denies that.
