84-78. And just for the record, I picked the 73-win season exactly correct last year over at the whitesox.com boards. If I can get two years in a row somebody's gonna have to start paying me for this.

90 or 91. They won't a need a win the last weekend.

88-74..................This goes over 90 If Rodon gets in rotation before June.

Im looking at 90-72 right now. I like to keep my predictions optimistic so i can b**** and moan in November

86-76.

I would like to go with a few more wins, but I am in wait and see mode when it comes to the bullpen.

I'm in at the pessimistic sub .500 level.

They get off to a poor start and it snowballs. Maybe mix in an injury or two that really hurts early in the year. They wind up seeing continuing erosion of revenues as May/June go on and throw in the towel in July by trading away a couple of their more expensive guys.

I've been wrong basically every year I can remember so I may as well set myself up for that again.

77 wins, with Gardenhire taking over come July

Well, that's interesting. Who are we trading Samardzija to?

The Cubs

92-70 and win the Central. Our starting pitching, especially when Rodon comes aboard, carries a slightly above average offense to a pretty good season.

89-74, they win the tiebreaker against Detroit

89-73

88-74. Second place in the division and a wild card berth.

I voted 90 wins. Why not? Better to hope for the best than be "right."

I think the offense could be awesome. I love the top 6, believe Avisail Garcia is going to break out, and Ramirez is going to drive in a ton of runs in the #6 hole. Gillaspie will probably not be as good as he was early last year, but with a platoon partner, should hold up till the end of the year and put up overall better numbers. The bench is better with Soto and Bonafacio, and Johnson is going to be so much better than Beckham on offense. It looks to me like we can bash, and manufacture runs.

The pitching will be good enough. Having a closer will make the all the difference.

83-79, I like the team, just think we'll get an injury or two, and some drop off from a few spots. Hope I'm wrong though.

No one, they'll hold on to him and get the draft pick

95. My sciatica isn't acting up like in bad years.

Every 10 years, again.

87-75, second place by 4 games to the Tigers.

90 wins and the division, I really can't see anyone but maybe KC beating us so we'll have to take it to KC this yr. and finally win the series against them.

80-82

Although the fade comes way too late to deal any pieces at the ASB like Samardzija.

80-82. I don't believe in Avisail Garcia, I don't believe in the back end of the rotation, and I have to predict that a couple guys get hurt just because usually a couple guys get hurt. If those things happen, the team has some real holes.

That said, I'm absolutely hopeful for an awesome season, and even if the team jumps from 60-something wins to 80 wins, it'll still be a very positive thing. A playoff appearance very much COULD happen. But I think it's less than 50% that the team makes the playoffs, so my my best guess seems a little negative.

73 last year.

If they don't win at least 10 more, the season really sucked. You never know with bullpens, but if it's a good bullpen and the team stays healthy, it's a playoff team.

I think the division is going to be very tough with some incredible pitching by the top 4 teams. I worry about the lack of power from the Sox, and I don't think the defense is going to be very good. If the Sox can't win 81 games, then Ventura needs to be canned.
