I thought it was common for pitchers to throw harder shortly after TJ surgery

I don't know about common. It definitely depends on the pitcher.

Carrasco was around 92-93 before the surgery. He's now averaging 95. It's a pretty big jump.

Robin admits on pre-game it's a token start for Bonifacio tonight and has nothing to with matchups or Micah.

Do you have an exact quote?

It very well may be a token start, but Robin isn't going to let Francona know he is playing a man short before the game.

of course the directv feed with the sox broadcast doesn't work

Ya, will have to listen to the Indians broadcast. Let's keep the winning going Sox

Unfortunately not, but he pretty much said he wanted to get Bonifacio some at-bats tonight after not really having a chance to so through the first few games.

Let's see if we have changed our approach at all at the plate

There ya go Eaton!

Hearing ch. 184 on Comcast... just trying to help out, there is a lot of confusion out there.

nice little knock by eaton

Come on, it's not like the Indians were picked to win the World Series or anything. Why would people go?

My mlb.tv screwed up or have there been no graphics on the screen for this game yet?

That has to be the first hit in quite awhile for Eaton... Hopefully that can light a spark.

I think sports illustrated had them facing the Nats IIRC.

Ouch! Wow hope he's ok

I hope hes ok, holy s***

Down goes Carrasco

Oh no. I hope it didn't get him in the face. s***

Ouch, Carrasco down

No graphics on the screen old school

For those not watching, line drive off Cabrera's bat nailed Carrasco, got him directly in the side of the head, he's face down on the mound.

Good on Cabrera to go over there. He has to feel like s***
