For those not watching, line drive off Cabrera's bat nailed Carrasco, got him directly in the side of the head, he's face down on the mound.

THX.

Hope he is ok my gosh.

Carrasco got destroyed right there. Hopefully he is ok. I hate to see stuff like that.

He's moving at least. Damn man, I hate seeing that stuff. I don't care who it is

Hes' still face down, trainer is rubbing his neck looking for damage. Pitcher (McAllister) up in the bullpen, stretcher out.

Holy s***. That's f***ing awful to see. After what feels like a never-ending stretch of injuries (Garcia, with minor ones by Sale and Abreu, Rose and basically every other Bull, Toews, etc), I am extremely sensitive to injuries and wouldn't wish them on any payer or any fanbase, but this looks truly f***ing terrible. I really, really hope this missed a terribly sensitive spot, and hope he can return quickly and with as much talent as ever. f***ing awful.

Carrasco is moving around, so he is at least awake. Hopefully there is no damage.

Tough break for Carrasco. I thought that hit him in the shoulder but that got him in the face.

Not good

He looks ok. Probably broken bone in his face though

It looks like it got him in the lower right jaw or lower right side of his face, below the hat line

Horrible injury luck for the Indians this year.

Now he's standing. If there's one plus here it's that it doesn't look like he'll have brain damage from this.

No graphics on the screen old school

I thought it was just an issue with the MLB.tv feed. Maybe not.

I think sports illustrated had them facing the Nats IIRC.

;)

He walked to the stretcher under his own power. Holding the right side of his face.

Whelp now their pen will be in all night. Sucks for carrasco but let's get some runs.

If his jaw is not broke, I will be shocked.

White Sox feed is now working on Directv. Apparently no graphics though?

Dirty play by Melky.

Must be the roids.

The way he was acting and holding the side of his face, I would pretty much guarantee that his jaw is broke. Hopefully I am way wrong though.

Wait, what?

They will probably retaliate and line one off Q's face.

Honestly, it's fortunate if that's the only thing he walks away with after this. A broken jaw will heal in a few months, a broken brain is much harder to deal with.
